PRIMARY SCHOOL TEAM CYCLE 54 MILES IN FUNDRAISER TO PROVIDE SPORTS FACILITIES FOR PUPILS
Manorfield Primary complete London to Brighton cycle, now only £1,500 away from target amount for facilities to provide healthy living for pupils facing barriers in education
On Sunday 15th September cyclists representing Manorfield Primary rode the 54-mile distance between London and Brighton to raise over £3,000 for the school’s outdoor learning area and sports facilities. It was the second time a Manorfield team had taken part in the London–Brighton event, marking both an increase in participants and in the amount fundraised. The ride was the culmination of a long process involving recruitment, fundraising and the training necessary to complete the challenge.
LONDON BIG HALF MARATHON
We have places available in the Vitality Big Half Marathon on Sunday March 10, 2019, starting at Tower Bridge and finishing at Cutty Sark. It's a great event and last year we had 250 runners who raised £56,000 for the school.
We ask each runner to pay a reduced £10 entrance fee and to commit to raising a minimum of £100. We've already got a team of nearly 100 runners, but we'd like lots more. Please contact us at email@example.com if you are interested.
